Blind Mounting of Address Plaques

Tape this template in the desired location on the back of the address plaque. Using a drill bit of the same diameter as the four mounting studs (usually 3/16”), drill through the marked holes.

Screw the mounting studs into the four tapped holes and snug up with a pair of pliers. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN, as this may create a bump on the face of the plaque.

Align the studs with the drilled holes and push the plaque into place. Use a rubber mallet and a wad of cloth to protect the face of the plaque, if extra force is required. For extra security, apply a mastic-type glue on the studs, such as PL200.

Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth.

Drill holes with appropriate size drill for the screws, or for the plastic wall plugs if mounting on drywall. Screw plaque onto surface with supplied screws. If decorative rosettes have been supplied with this plaque, glue these over top of the screws.

CAUTION – This address plaques and numbers has a clear protective coating to prevent oxidizing of the surface. The coating can be easily damaged through mis-handling. If cleaning is required, wipe with a clean soft cloth only in the direction of the grain of the plaque, or use a solution of water and mild detergent. Do not use any chemical-based or abrasive cleaners.
