Have not yet put the “hopper” to work, however, I did try it on for size and I feel certain it will carry my weight and make digging up my small backyard and planting grass seeds much easier.

I own one. Yes, it is handy for planting annuals, etc. However, it is not easy to get the tool you want out of this thing. It rolls as much when you don’t want it to as when you do. In practice, I use a plastic bucket as a seat more often. Use one and save the bucks.

Like “A Customer” wrote, I’m an old geezer with a bad back among other aches and pains. Very, very difficult for me to get down to low shelves, and most of my lower cabinets are used for long-term storage. So this gets me closer to the ground when needed — inside, not out. Right now it’s standing guard in the kitchen.

It’s study enough for me to feel pretty safe with my (slightly) overweight self. That’s a lot more important to me than the little storage space. A hinge probably would weaken it.

Now, if only it could lift me back up automatically.

This was a present for my daughter. She loves to work in the garden and this will help make the weeding easier.

This is a very sturdy little item for yard work, but it is very low to the ground to be handy to sit on if you have any back problems or you carry any extra weight. Would be nice if it was a few inches taller. The storage compartment under the seat is kinda inaccessible, and it would be nice if the seat popped up so you could get to what you store in there. Would also be nice to have a “tongue” so that you could pull it along.
